Privacy
The short version: we keep what's needed to run your account and show your recipes, nothing is sold, and there's no advertising or tracking.
What's stored
- Your email address, to send sign-in links. It's never shown to other people.
- Your profile: username, display name and the short bio you write. These are public.
- Your recipes, private until you publish them.
- Your ratings, comments and reports. Ratings and comments on published recipes are public; reports are only seen by moderators.
Where it's kept
Account data is stored with Supabase, which hosts the database and sends sign-in emails. The site itself is served by GitHub Pages. If you use “Convert with Claude” on the import page, the recipe you convert is sent from your browser to Anthropic using your own API key, under your own agreement with Anthropic; Sous Sheet never sees that key.
On your device
Your browser keeps your sign-in session, recipes you saved without an account, and small preferences like your last search. Sous Sheet uses no cookies for tracking and no analytics.
Your choices
You can edit your profile, unpublish or delete any recipe, and delete your comments at any time. Deleting your account (Account → Delete account) permanently removes your profile, recipes, ratings and comments. Export your recipes first if you want to keep them.
